The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really happening.
