The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in the state of California at the age of 55.

The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.

The celebrated video game developer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a highway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, according to.
