Your Perfect Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Mega Evolution According to Your Astrological Sign

The comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread excitement across the community. From the gradual reveal of fresh additions ahead of the title's release, to trainers forming strong views on the entire roster of new Megas, there's plenty for fans to look forward to.

With numerous of the Super Forms showcasing distinctive designs that emphasize their traits, one thought came to mind: How can link this with astrology? This list is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was almost selected for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Super Houndoom comes across as always angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, known for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. This makes the Ram much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only spews lava when provoked. Remain on the good side of both and enjoy a powerful partner; should you offend them, prepare to face the consequences.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Similar to a loyal Bull, the steadfast Heracross species, whether in its standard and Super Form, has assisted many players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, both the creature and a Taurus are also battle-oriented, and – be it their trainer or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position to the end. The thing about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unabashed love of treats. Several past official descriptions mention their craving for tasty sap and how it employs its appendage to hoard it everything, which is true Taurus energy.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Look at this absolute queen. It's impossible to convince me this creature is not the life of every party, providing an endless fountain of gossip to those who wants to hear. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's very simple to imagine Super Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their tales. Medicham’s official description also mentions its ability to predict an opponent's next moves, which sounds very similar to a people-smart Gemini.

Cancer – Super Manectric

Cancer is commonly regarded as the most emotional sign of the zodiac, a passionate symbol famous for frequently becoming absorbed in their emotions. According to the official info, Super Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “huge quantity of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to completely control,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab emotional outburst. It is also known for its capability to make a storm cloud over its own head – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their good time.

The Lion – Mega Starmie

Oh, did you think I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the lion of the stars? Besides the fact that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is obviously Mega Starmie, the star whose legs just became an internet sensation for being too glamorous (or horrifying, depending on your taste). Players couldn’t look away from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the same vibe a Lion brings to the scene. This Pokémon is also rumored to be transmitting signals from its red core out into space, and it’s just like a Lion to be staging a show, even if for extraterrestrials.

The Maiden – Mega Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly represented in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual digestive issues. The sign famous for being charmingly critical is strongly mirrored across this creature's whole lineage, from a perpetually surprised face like a Virgo when you tell them you don’t have a 401(k), to its upside-down face that’s similar to the symbol a Virgo sends to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of creating a plan.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, empathetic creature, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to detect how others are feeling by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and trying to keep the harmony, there are numerous Libras who would likely appreciate Super Audino's abilities. Though, let’s be honest, it would probably just make them stress more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly tragic backstory: Abandoned as a toy, it gained sentient through pure resentment and swore revenge on its previous caretaker. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpio adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the perfect match with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always staging a show. As a Sagittarius personally, the number of times I’ve called myself some variation of a “playful little entertainer” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its description even mentions how it “flexes to show off its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius match I can imagine.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to foresee disasters ahead of time? That exudes the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who often always believe they’re right. The thing is, similar to a visionary Mega Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the very first Mega Evolution that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to get in on the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Mega Chandelure

Detached air sign Aquarius is arguably the non-fire placement that is most like a fire sign – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being chaotic accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Ghost/Fire category matches perfectly with this, and the Mega’s overall daunting presence is also very Aquarius. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “draws in hatred and converts it into strength.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
